Engagements

DC: Engagement

It’s not every wedding we get to hang out with our couple the morning of their day. It’s not every wedding we go to the place where he popped the question. And it’s definitely not every wedding we shoot at a landmark named after Neal’s Son.

Amanda and TJ braved the cold of a DC December Saturday as we walked around downtown for their engagement shoot. We found a few spots to stop and have some fun before we ventured out to the Lincoln Memorial where TJ popped the question.

Personal

DC United???

No, not the soccer team (or Football for those across the pond), but being united with some of our future and former clients.

While in Washington DC this weekend we had the opportunity to meet with four of our clients.  Lauren and Brad, as well as Meghann and Eddy will be entering into the LemonLime Fraternity (Brad, that’s for you) this next year.  We are looking forward to both of their weddings; all four are beautiful people inside and out.  It was a pleasure to finally put a face to the names.

We also had the grand time of running into now old friends, Megan and Dustin.  You may remember them from Austin, and Colorado, and now DC.  If you want to go back memory lane, check out their post here.  It was great to see you two again, it’s always a pleasure

To top it all off we had the absolute delight spending time with our bride and groom that set this whole thing up, Amanda & TJ.  We’ll be posting some of your images later this week, but we wanted to send you a quick thank you and let you know how much fun we had with you this weekend.  Thanks for braving the cold and showing us some of the great sites of our nation’s capital.

Rockin the Windy City: remix

Greg and Kate’s reception reminded us that there is much child-like fun to be had in adulthood.  Roll up your sleeves and grab your invisible jump ropes and soup ladles…you won’t want to miss out on this post….
