Almost done…

As a photographer, Megen and Matt’s wedding was a dream. We had 4 other photographers by our side, so we had the ultimate freedom to capture any moment and take any risk. We could be in the worst position to capture the ceremony, but if we had a shot in mind and we wanted to sit in amongst the crowd to be in position to grab it we could.

With this freedom and sharing ideas with our fellow photographers, came some amazing images. Over the last week we have sent you links from every studio. We hope you have enjoyed the diversity of the images. There are several most posts to come from both Dustin Steller and Jason Domingues, but for us these are our final images of Megen and Matt’s day.

LemonLime loves weddings. We love to be able to witness beautiful moments, amazing spaces, and some of the most gracious people we have met. This ‘experiment’ is yet to be fully told, but we hope you have a greater respect for our passion that is photography. It is our sincere hope that all the other photographers and vendors that joined us on this journey learned something about their work and that working together can bring about beautiful things.

Megen’s mother walked her down the aisle and this was her final look before her daughter took Matt’s hand.

A little first dance fun…

More to come…

It will be tomorrow when we as a group take you through the ceremony and reception of Megen & Matt’s day. Here are just a couple shots that caught our eye. Be sure to jump over the Jan & Marco’s killer portraits.

Getting Ready

We can not thank Megen and Matt enough for the opportunity to document their day. They trusted us from our first phone conversation and we will never be able to repay the gratitude we feel for that trust.

We begin the day with some getting ready images. Our task throughout the day was to concentrate our focus on the bride and groom. To capture little moments we normally might not think about. We may not have changed our style all that much from our regular work, but we did start to see the couple from a different perspective.

These are our images…

Matt’s Grandfather was a survivor of the Titanic. Yes, you read that correctly, The Titanic. This was his pocket watch.

Be sure to check out PhotoMementos on Friday for their post on this amazing day.

  1. Very cool shoe shot! The dof one, well and the other one too. But I the detail photograph is sweet.
