Kristen & Chris

All couples are different and all couples want their sessions to portray them in a unique way. We work with every client to come up with what best describes them. Kristen and Chris wanted to class up our site a little bit. We were more than happy to let them throw on some nice digs and get us out of our regular thought process.

We hope you enjoy.

Jessica & Tom

Before we begin to talk about Jessica & Tom, we would like to first thank them for being so understanding. About 8pm of their wedding reception, Linley (Neal’s Daughter) had to be taken into the ER at Children’s Mercy. She had an Asthma attack and at a little less than 6 months old that is a very frightening thing for a mother to go through. Lincoln was a great big brother as Neal’s Jessica took their two children to the hospital. Jessica & Tom understood as Neal thanked them for the amazing day and left to be with his family. We would like to thank them very much for this. Family is very important to LemonLime and we greatly appreciate this characteristic in our clients.

We also had a little help from our good friend Matt O’Laughlin, whose wedding we shot a couple years ago. Thank you very much for helping with that transition and all your help through out the day.

Now, on to this fabulous couple. When these two rolled into our introductory client meeting, they were very shy and somewhat soft spoken. Though as we got to know them more and more we got to know they both had a very quick wit and were surely not afraid of letting it out on their wedding day. We will let your imaginations take over with what happened with the cones and their portraits.

Thanks again guys and we hope you enjoyed the ‘Surprise’….

Now with artificial flavor…

What happens when half of LemonLime heads to China for 10 days??

You bring in some artificial flavor and you shoot an amazing wedding. That’s right! Eric had an opportunity to go to China with family and Bree & Nick knew LemonLime could still capture their day. To do this, we called in some friends, Dustin Steller & Matt Kocourek. They both did a great job and we are thankful to have such good friends that are also amazing photographers.

Enough about that, let’s tell you about Bree and Nick. These two added a little country to our normally very urban existence. We are all about different and that is what their day had in store for us.

Aside from the fact there was no Eric, the day began fairly typical to a wedding. The girls were getting ready and making all their final preparations, and the guys were sitting around wondering why they had to be ready so soon.

A few last minute assignments as they draw up their play for a successfully party…

Just a little sandwich to calm the nerves…

Bree and Nick’s first sight was so beautiful. There was laughter, a few tears, and a hug so tight you could tell she wanted him to know she had been waiting for this day for a long time.

There had been rain on and off during the entire reception, during one of the last showers Bree grabbed her Dad and headed out to the mud. That was their teaser image. Nick didn’t want her Dad have all the fun and he came out and danced with his beautiful new wife.

  1. These are very neat pictures. They remind me of our wedding in the pecan grove at the B&B, but a more country version…and tornadoes instead of freezing rain. LOVE LOVE LOVE the one with the tree and the whole bridal party. The bride and her dad is quite a magical shot. Great job guys!
