Darcey & Tyler – Wedding
There were a few sprinkles of rain, but there were many more laughs and just a few tears. Darcey and Tyler had a gorgeous day and we were so thankful they invited us to Columbia, Missouri to capture their wedding.

Jennifer and Andrew had planned ever detail and moment of their wedding to be spectacular. From custom dresses, wood and moss table runners, to handmade mahogany columns to make the wedding alter, it was a day rich in their designer talents. But what no one had planned on was the downpour of rain that came. There was one moment that showed us a glimpse of what this day would become. Andrew, while helping the dog Snacks into his jeep had his suit slip from the hanger and fall into a puddle of mud; this while he and Jennifer were on the phone together. After some choice words for the hanger, Jennifer took a deep breath and just did what makes their relationship uniquely them. They calmed each other down just by their simple words and tone of their voices, and worked through it. As luck would happen, Andrew was using his own tailor made suit for the wedding and his original one was still nicely hung in his closet. It was in that moment as they talked about this last challenge was when we knew our day would be great no matter rain or shine. And that it was.

Each Bridesmaid dress had a custom designed collar.

Check out Andrew in action building these columns over on his site with Acrongym Designs.
