Rockin the Windy City: remix

Greg and Kate’s reception reminded us that there is much child-like fun to be had in adulthood.  Roll up your sleeves and grab your invisible jump ropes and soup ladles…you won’t want to miss out on this post….

Rockin’ the Windy City.

A few weeks ago we packed up our gear and headed north to Chicago. It was exciting to shoot in the city where LemonLime shot its first official wedding almost two years ago (we even threw a little pizza party for ourselves). Kate and Greg planned the perfect city wedding, from the boys riding the EL train the the ceremony, to the skyscraper reception location next to the Sears Tower.  The Windy City lived up to it’s name as we braved the elements.

Kate and Greg might be the most outgoing couple we have run across. At our first meeting they prepared us that the day, even with all its beauty and ritual, was going to be quite the party. The day certainly was perfect, and the party – well it was a rockin’…

Kate wants to start a new trend at weddings, and dare we say no to anything new.  Forget throwing that bouquet, throw a beautiful purse!!

  1. Love these! The “very warm” looking group in front of the skyline is great – and that reception hall…WOW!

    Amazing work

  2. These pictures so capture the beauty of my city. Also, do you by chance know who made her dress?

Simple and elegant.

Jennifer and David charmed us with their intimate wedding ceremony at the Danforth chapel last week.  With 40 of their family members and closest friends they united in marriage and then treated their guests with a delectable sit down dinner at Tellers, an old renovated bank full of charm. The day from start to finish was grounded, sophisticated, and full of substance.  Jennifer and David created a special day that was crafted by the things of utmost importance.

Welcome back you two, we hope you had a great time in Spain.  Here are a few of our favorite images from the day.
