Greg and Kate’s reception reminded us that there is much child-like fun to be had in adulthood. Roll up your sleeves and grab your invisible jump ropes and soup ladles…you won’t want to miss out on this post….

A little Double Dutch…..

And who wins the ‘Dance Off’….

A few weeks ago we packed up our gear and headed north to Chicago. It was exciting to shoot in the city where LemonLime shot its first official wedding almost two years ago (we even threw a little pizza party for ourselves). Kate and Greg planned the perfect city wedding, from the boys riding the EL train the the ceremony, to the skyscraper reception location next to the Sears Tower. The Windy City lived up to it’s name as we braved the elements.
Kate and Greg might be the most outgoing couple we have run across. At our first meeting they prepared us that the day, even with all its beauty and ritual, was going to be quite the party. The day certainly was perfect, and the party – well it was a rockin’…

Kate’s Dad protecting her dress from the mist.

Greg waiting to get on the EL.

No one was cold and no one about fell into Lake Michigan, we promise.

Kate wants to start a new trend at weddings, and dare we say no to anything new. Forget throwing that bouquet, throw a beautiful purse!!

And where oh where is all this dancing and partying you ask???
Check back next week, it gets a post all it’s own….
The fall is a great time and this was our first with Lincoln as a walker. Last year he just laid around and looked cute. Now he runs around and gets into stuff. Oh, how times change…

On a more somber note, we really posted a picture of our little guy because he had Croup. We were in the ER for most of Saturday night.
So if you get a moment, give Lincoln some love so he can get better. We want our little guy back to his normal getting into drawers and banging on things.

Love these! The “very warm” looking group in front of the skyline is great – and that reception hall…WOW!
Amazing work
