There is something about an engagement session that really makes us look forward to a wedding. We get to know the couple, we get to hear fun stories about their relationship (some we could blackmail them with), and we get to see how they interact with a camera shoved inches from their face.
In this case, we came to the understanding that on October 19th, if the limo drives by a stray puppy, the wedding may be slightly delayed. Laura has a huge heart and just can not help but try and nurse an animal back to health.
Can’t wait for their wedding.

As wedding photographers, we sometimes get a lesson in history, culture, and family traditions as we photograph many different types of wedding ceremonies. To our delight, we had the privilege of an awesome new experience….a Jewish Ketoubah Signing Ceremony, and an Asian Tea Ceremony. Along with these two formal ceremonies, Tracy and Vince also declared their vows in what you might call a traditional ‘American’ ceremony. By the days end, Tracy had changed her dress three times (three dresses….a brides dream!), and Vince had cried as much as Neal did at his wedding. What an emotional day it was for both of them, their families, and a testament to the power of true love.
Their exquisite taste, attention to every little detail, and the selflessness demonstrated by their family members made it a memorable event that we will never forget! Thanks you two for allowing us to be a part of something VERY special.

Annie and Stephen give us another reason we’re looking forward to October. Can’t wait to take part in their big day! Here are a couple shots from their engagement session…
